NEW YORK, March 13, 2017 – Bragar Eagel & Squire, P.C. announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on behalf of all persons or entities who acquired Adeptus Health, Inc. (NYSE: ADPT) securities between April 29, 2016 and March 1, 2017 (the “Class Period”).
According to the lawsuit, Defendants throughout the Class Period made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) Adeptus had material weaknesses in its internal control over financial reporting in the areas of revenue recognition, accounts receivable, accounting for a contribution to an unconsolidated joint venture, and accounting for equity in (loss) earnings of unconsolidated joint ventures; and (2) as a result, Defendants’ statements about Adeptus’ business, operations, and prospects were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times.
