NEW YORK, November 10, 2016 – Bragar Eagel & Squire, P.C. announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed in the United States District Court for the New Jersey District Court on behalf of all persons or entities who acquired Agria Corporation (NYSE : GRO) securities between December 16, 2011 to November 4, 2016 (the “Class Period”).
The complaint alleges that throughout the Class Period, Defendants made false and misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) Defendants were trading to artificially inflate Agria's stock price to meet NYSE's continuing listing standards and to avoid being delisted from the NYSE; (2) Agria lacked sufficient internal controls over financial reporting; and (3) consequently, Defendants' public statements about Agria's business, operations, and prospects were materially false and misleading at all relevant times.
