NEW YORK, July 19, 2016 – Bragar Eagel & Squire, P.C. announces that a class action lawsuit has been filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California on behalf of clients of The Charles Schwab Corporation during the period between July 13, 2011 and July 13, 2016.

This is a securities class action on behalf of all clients of The Charles Schwab Corporation or Charles Schwab & Co. between July 13, 2011 and July 13, 2016 who placed trade orders that were automatically routed to UBS Securities LLC, in a manner inconsistent with the duty of best execution.
The lawsuit charges The Charles Schwab Corporation, its subsidiary Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., its President and CEO, Walter Bettinger II, and its Chairman and namesake, Charles Schwab with violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
