NEW YORK, March 1, 2018 – Bragar Eagel & Squire, P.C. is investigating potential claims against TreeHouse Foods, Inc. (NYSE: THS). Our investigation concerns possible breaches of fiduciary duty by certain officers and directors of the Company.
On November 3, 2016, the Company released several pieces of negative information, including that its private brand’s business had failed to meet expectations; its 2016 guidance was excessive and would be lowered; its integration strategy had proven to be inadequate; it was closing its British Columbia facility; and its President had resigned.
Following these disclosures, the Company and certain of its executives were sued in a securities class action lawsuit, which charged them with failing to disclose material information during the Class Period and violating federal securities laws. Recently, the court presiding over that case denied the Company’s motion to dismiss and allowed the case to move forward.
